Adult circumcision, a procedure performed in adulthood, can yield similar results to those done shortly after birth. There are various reasons why men choose circumcision. Some seek increased comfort and prefer the aesthetic appearance it offers. Others may already have undergone the procedure but are unsatisfied with the results. At Circumcision Clinic, we specialize in both initial and revision procedures, always striving for your satisfaction.
If you have any concerns at any point, rest assured that Circumcision Clinic is here to assist you. We are dedicated to providing exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring clear and prompt communication throughout your journey.
The circumcision procedure typically lasts around 15 minutes after the penis has been anesthetized. Following the procedure, a necessary healing period is required. While you may experience some swelling in the first 2 days, it is usually not very painful, and over-the-counter pain relievers should suffice. After one week, moderate activity is allowed, but returning to physical work may take longer. Sexual activity can usually resume after approximately two to four weeks.
In general, you can return to work and daily activities when you feel comfortable doing so. It’s advisable to avoid strenuous exercises like jogging or weightlifting during the first four weeks of your recovery, or until your doctor provides approval. Walking is an excellent way to stay active during your recovery, and gradually increasing your daily steps is recommended.
If you encounter any of the following issues, don’t hesitate to contact your doctor:
