Some families may prefer to have their children circumcised at older age. There might be a good reason to have circumcision at older age such as child illness, some other family circumstances, or it could be a cultural reason.
We will give this age group a special attention because it can be a difficult and anxious time for both the parents and the children. The child may be difficult to control. However, with our good patience and long experience we usually manage to calm down both the parents and the child.
The most common procedure done in this age group is Plastibell. However, some families might prefer another method of circumcision such as surgical forceps guided circumcision.
Full consultation will be given before we start the procedure and parents will be given a full explanation and full instructions for the aftercare and the follow up.
